Hylogel 0.3 %sterile Eye Gel

Lubricating eye drops (artificial tears, 0.3%–0.5%) for:

• Dry eyes (tear deficiency), eye strain and irritation from screens, wind, air conditioning
• Dry eye with Sjögren's syndrome, after eye surgery
• Moistening hard contact lenses (some products)

Adults and children: 1–2 drops in each affected eye 3–4 times daily or as often as needed.

• Preservative-free single-dose units are preferred for frequent use (more than 4–6 times daily) or with sensitive eyes.
• Wait 5 minutes before using other eye drops.

• Allergy to hypromellose or preservatives (e.g. benzalkonium chloride)

Common: brief blurred vision after instilling, mild stinging.

Rare: eye irritation or allergy (usually due to preservatives), sticky eyelashes.

• Do not wear soft contact lenses with preserved drops; remove and reinsert after 15 minutes.
• Seek medical advice if pain, vision changes, persistent redness or worsening occur.
• Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye.

Safe in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

No significant interactions; may prolong contact time of other eye drops — separate by 5 minutes.

Not harmful.

Store below 30°C. Discard multi-dose bottles 4 weeks after opening; single-dose units immediately after use.
